So here's the deal currently while the newest version of Minecraft has been released, the latest version of CraftBukkit (the software our server uses) has not been updated yet (nor have a number of the mod's we use)

But I want to Play MINECRAFT, I WANT TO PLAY NOW! MY HANDS ARE TREMBLING!!!

Take a deep breath, you can still play on the server if you go to hit START then RUN on your desktop type in the following

Code: [Select]
%appdata%/.minecraft
it will open your minecraft folder, now open the "bin" directory and find 'minecraft.jar'  rename it to something like 'minecraft-1.0.jar'

next find a file that resembles minecraft-1.8.1.jar and rename it to just 'minecraft.jar'

now reload Minecraft and try logging into the server, you have successfully been reverted back to version 1.8.1

Once the latest version of Craftbukkit has been updated well update the server as well.  I've also been planning on rebuilding a lot of our setting files as well.
