Hosting Issues [Resolved]

Yes the Minecraft Server is down for the time being, there is some kind of hosting issue preventing the server from starting up. I have a ticket in however it may resolve itself but I'll keep you updated when I hear something

The host has fixed the glitch, server is back online

for those of you who play MC, there should be an update screen once you get on and update the game...

And i tried updating it, it said "failed to launch" so i don't know whats up, oh yea and my copy of MC turned black when i pressed not now...

the only thing I can suggest is to go back to the launcher choose options and click force update again then try and load it up once more. the update server might of been down when you tried.

the other thing you can try is if you have another computer try and update it on that one then copy the files to your computer and it should play (until the next update anyway)

as a last resort you may want to try completely removing the game and re-installing it or try updating your java version if it's outdated

the server is up, and it update its self to 1.2.5..
